德东短宣 4/8/2012

I am greatly encouraged by David and Baffe’s report, and Youping’s
report about the happenings in Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley. As
Pastor Wang said, although we work in different fields, we are one
family through our prayers for each other and through the love of our
Lord.

As there is a 4 day weekend in Germany, many people left town and
there are less people attending Sunday service; yet I was excited to
meet old and new friends. I unexpectedly saw Mrs. Hung, who had just
arrived in Leipzig from Taiwan midday and then hurried to church. She
will be leaving again Thursday to meet with Pastor Hung in Canada.
There are more kids and pregnant sisters. There are also a couple of
newcomers who came to ‘observe religion’, they are non-believers but
may the Lord change their hearts.

After church LJ and SS took me to eat Italian food. They have been
gracious hosts last year and this year. Thanks to them I was made
aware that Monday is also a holiday and no shops open (even the
traffic lights fail to work). Fortunately the trains still run.
Please pray for my ministry Monday evening in Jena to several seekers.

Blessings

Richard
